Patiently Building a Brand,

There is nothing small about growing a small business.   Establishing the brand framework and the sheer volume of details that requires, can be daunting.  I'm looking forward to breaking open this new book, Grace not Perfection, in hopes that it will help me practice the art of patience, while still feeling progress.  In my life and in my business.

Everything in the scope of work I offer to my clients:  branding strategy and design, client experience guides, social media integration, content, keyword and hashtag research and development, cohesive communications, engagement strategies, analyitics, creatively "telling the story" and building connections....all of these things inspire me.  Most of these elements of a business, if done well, are cohesive and go hand-in-hand.  But each of these things deserves and/or requires focused thought.

Theres nothing better than working with business owners who are passionate about their brand Their fire, ignites the fire in me.  Which consequently, burns rather incessantly!  One challenge I'm currently navigating, is turning the scope of my work onto my own business.  I am working hard to consciously give myself grace to the fact this will not all get done in a day or week maybe even a month.  My client communications and tools are not branded to perfection or even to my expections (yet).  My social media presence is a work in progress, and my portfilio is still merely a concept.  It is all in the process.  Although this is difficult for me to accept, after all, my business is all about creative marketing and a well curated branding!

So I am steadfast in my belief: that the right clients for me, who have inspired opportunities are finding me, and they are trusting me with their vision and passion, not because my posts went viral or I rank in the top three on a Google search (although that might someday be the case!), but because they sense my energy is resolute and my passion is sincere.

Your business, your brand may in the ideal state you wish it to be.  That just means you have a great opportunity for continuous improvement, which is the essential in any business.  Trust your passion, and if you're not confident in your branding skills, seek someone who can help you communicate your brand's greatness.
