Meet the Week with Motivation & Organization

Rising up to meet the week head on!  What are some ways you get motivated for Mondays and the week ahead?

Personally, getting in an early morning run or fitness class gets me motivated for the day...especially Mondays!  Although, I know that isn't everyones idea of #mondaymotivation, but I like that I can get that checked off my list early in the day.

Taking a bit of time on the weekend to prep for the week ahead helps me to get a nice jump start so I can hit the ground running 🏃🏻‍♀️physically and mentally I guess😉

What does the “prep” actually entail?  Depends on the week, but usually it involves drafting a few of my clients content & posts for the week...if the creative juices are flowing I can get a full week or more done ✅.

I also work on my to-do lists for the week, especially if there are special projects or deadlines approaching.  This also includes communication with my clients.  I’m not in their offices on a daily basis so staying connected and communicating regularly is essential in order to be effective and efficient 👌🏻

Business prep aside...giving thought and attention to my family’s week ahead also makes my week run smoother.  That includes meal planning (although this is SOOO hard in summertime🙃), appointments, social commitments, etc...  A smooth(ish) running makes for a happy mom and a happy mompreneur👍🏻

My personal content lately has taken a back seat to client work.  While that frustrates me at times, I’ve tried to not let it overwhelm me.  There are always things we’d like to be doing better.  Acknowledge those things we can improve upon, but don’t get stuck in the weeds.  Sometimes we need a kick in the tail to get moving, other times we need to give ourselves some grace.  I’ve needed to be a grace-giver a lot lately.  But hey, now I’ve got a new post up.  It's authentic and not forced.  Winner winner...we are actually having chicken for dinner (it is on the meal plan😜)

I'd love to know strategies or tips you utilize that help you to feel productive and ahead of the preverbal "ball", please share!
